Social services agencies
According to the Office for the Community and Volunteering Sector, there are more than 10,000 social service agencies in New Zealand. These agencies employ more than 30,000 people and contribute millions of dollars in unpaid volunteer time to the New Zealand economy.
We work with as many of these agencies as possible so that we can set the qualification standards for the sector.
Some of the bigger agencies we work with are:
- Barnardos
- IHC
- Institute for Child Protection Services
- Jigsaw – Child Abuse Prevention Services New Zealand
- Lifeline
- National Collective of Independent Women’s Refuges
- National Network of Stopping Violence
- New Zealand Association of Adolescent Health and Development
- New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services
- Open Home Foundation
- Presbyterian Support New Zealand
- Relationship Services New Zealand (Family Violence Taskforce)
- Royal New Zealand Plunket Society
- Wesley Community Action
- YMCA
