What is involved in a site visit?
The AMAP requires a site visit at all levels, but at levels 5-7 a teaching professional from another education agency in the same discipline is also required. The venue for the site visit is usually at a delivery site or head office.
The standard agenda is a guide to the format of the visit and can be adjusted to meet the needs of the process. The length of visit is determined by the scope and complexity of the accreditation sought.
You will be given verbal feedback at the close of the meeting, which will include whether or not the criteria have been met. If remedial action is required, this will be discussed with you and timelines put in place to address the issues.
